Singapore, an island city-state off southern Malaysia, is a global financial center with a tropical climate and multicultural population. Its colonial core centers on the Padang, a cricket field since the 1830s and now flanked by grand buildings such as City Hall, with its 18 Corinthian columns. In Singapore's circa-1820 Chinatown stands the red-and-gold Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, said to house one of Buddha's teeth.
Arrive in Singapore. Check into Hotel and then we head out for a city tour to Civic District, passing by Padang, the Parliament House, the Supreme Court and the City Hall. Visitors can take their photos with the Merlion, and enjoy the great views of Marina Bay. We visit the Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, before driving past Chinatown. We will also visit the National Orchid Garden and Little India.
Second part of the tour, visitors can get a panoramic view of the the entire metropolis from the top of the 165-meter Singapore Flyer. See the impressive skyline of Singapore, including the city’s landmarks like Collyer Quay, Raffles Place, The Fullerton Singapore, Esplanade, Merlion Park, Empress Place, Singapore River, Padang, Fort Canning Park and Floating Stadium. Cap the night with a stroll along the central business district via Benjamin Sheares Bridge to see the world’s largest fountain at Suntec City. Overnight at Hotel
After Breakfast we take a break from the hustle and bustle with a trip to Jurong Bird Park, a 20-hectare sanctuary right in the heart of the city. The park is home to more than 8,000 birds of about 600 species. Get a panoramic view of the park by riding the Panorail and enjoy the Penguin Exhibit and the All-Star Bird Show. Head to the island of Sentosa in the afternoon via a cable car from Mount Faber. Watch the adorable pink dolphins perform amazing tricks and visit the Underwater World, an 80-meter transparent acrylic tunnel which gives an opportunity to view over 2,500 sea creatures in close proximity. Witness the laser displays at musical fountain before you head back to the mainland.
Explore Singapore’s version of Chinatown and test your bargaining skills against vendors selling souvenir items. The tour includes a ride on a trishaw that takes visitors to the alleyways of Chinatown down to Clarke Quay. Visitors can take the option to cruise Singapore River on a bumboat to get a different view of Singapore’s landmarks all illuminated at night. Alternatively, a whole day of animal fun can be had with a visit to Singapore Zoo, River Safari and the Night Safari.
After Breakfast we head for Universal Studios on Day Three of your itinerary. Enjoy the rides and attractions of this movie-inspired theme park. Feel the thrill while riding BattleStar Galactica, which is the world’s tallest pair of dueling roller coasters. Have fun at Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Madagascar: A Crate Adventure and Revenge of the Mummy. Watch death-defying stunts, explosions and thrilling actions at Waterworld and other attractions.
